From 012th to 18th July 2010 Iris Ceramica will take part in the celebrations for the PIDA, Ischia International Architecture Prize , in which it is also a partner. The aim of the event is to spread the culture of architecture, and it is the outcome of a joint effort on the part of the following associations: Ordine degli Architetti e Pianificatori (Architects’ and Planners’ Association) , Paesaggisti e Conservatori di Napoli e Provincia (Landscapers and Curators of Naples and its Province), ANGiA (Associazione Nazionale Giovani Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori – National Association of Young Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Curators) and ANAB (Associazione Nazionale Architettura Bio-ecologica – National Association for Bioecological Architecture) .

The PIDA aims to become one of the most important reference points in the world of architecture, also by working alongside the American Institute of Architects, which is the most important organisation in this field in the US. The event also has the purpose of stressing the role and responsibilities of architecture and architects in the process of transformation of the landscape and in development policies, especially with regard to the field of tourism and hospitality. For this reason, for the week dedicated to the PIDA, debates, awards and workshops for professionals have been organised.

Stefano Storchi, Marketing Manager, Iris Ceramica, will attend the workshop scheduled for Friday 23rd July and the event “The most beautiful hotels” on Saturday 24th July (an award for hotel architects.
